Join us for a scenic tour through Mowachaht-Muchalaht First Nation territory and Gold River’s stunning forest-scape; where vibrant waterways connect Strathcona Provincial Park to the historic Nootka Sound. Throughout our tours, we will explore the various stages of growth in Westcoast forests, learn about local flora and fauna, all while observing the interconnectedness that represents the Mowachaht-Muchalaht way of being; Hišuk-iš cawaak  (hee-shook-ish tsa-walk), everything is connected.

What to expect:

- A Fully Guided Experience: From pick up to drop off, let us share some our favorite forested walks, including transportation from meeting point, picturesque photo opportunities, and engaging interpretation.

-Traditional Care: An introduction to the territory, followed by a safety briefing and route overview.

- Geographical & Ecological Interpretation: Explore local trail systems framed through plant identification, cultural knowledge, and local history.

- Photo Opportunities: Keep your cameras ready as we stop at memorable viewpoints, follow along magical foliage, and peak in on shy wildlife.
